2014 Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge

This one sounds so awesome! It's super simple, you just have to read a book for each letter of the alphabet. You don't have to count the words "A" or "The" at the beginning of a title, so for example: The Help could be H and A Christmas Carol could be C. This will be a real challenge for those more difficult letters(I'm really lucky I've already read a "Y" book in 2014!), but I think it'll be fun. This challenge is hosted by Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book so you can hop over there to read more about the challenge.

My Books For This Challenge:

C.) The Coal Elf by Maria DeVivo (Review Coming!)

E.) Edna in the Desert by Maddy Lederman(Review Coming!)

Southern Literature Challenge

Southern Literature Reading Challenge hosted at The Introverted Reader

Being a Kentucky girl, I certainly love my Southern Literature. So, I might have literally done a little happy dance when I found this challenge(Don't tell anyone!) The rules are pretty straight-forward and simple as can be. You just have to read a book primarily set in a southern state(how awesome is that?). This challenge is hosted over at The Introverted Reader, so click over there if you want to check out the official post and sign up through the linky.

My Goal:
Level 4: Y'all Come Back Now, Y'Hear?
This is the highest tier, but I definitely think I can handle it(just 4 books!), and maybe even surpass it! Y'all should definitely check this one out and sign on up. I'm already thinking of all the awesome books to choose from, how will I pick?

My Books for this Challenge:
I'll keep this post updated with all the books I read for this challenge and my links to the reviews for them. When I actually have one for it, the list will start right here.

2014 Fur & Fangs Reading Challenge

So, I recently  found this blog that lists all kinds of reading challenges. I've never really participated in a reading challenge before(besides the Goodreads yearly challenge), and so I thought it would be pretty cool to participate in a few this year. Wish me luck!

My first challenge here is the Fur & Fangs Reading Challenge hosted by Novel Heartbeat and Phantasmic Reads. Thanks to them for creating this one, I can't wait! The goal is to read a certain amount(your choice!) of books by December 31st that have either vampires or werewolves/other shifters(or both!) in them.

Reasoning Behind My Goal:
Okay, I'm trying to be realistic here, y'all. There just aren't very many vamp or 'wolf books in my TBR pile right now. There are a few series I like containing them that I plan on reading a few of this year and I have a really awesome review/spotlight coming up in a few weeks of a book that contains werewolves, so we'll see how many I can get read this year!

My Goal:
5-10 Books!
I know, I know. Why the exclamation point? That doesn't seem like a lot, but it's a goal and hey, maybe I'll surpass it and tack on a few more. Who knows right?

My Books for this Challenge:
I'll keep this post updated with all the books I read for this challenge and my links to the reviews for them. When I actually have one for it, the list will start right here.
