Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Before even beginning to write this, I know whatever review I give, whatever words I type will never-and I do mean never- ever do this novel justice. I could write out the synopsis but even that doesn't even begin to prepare you for the emotional rollercoaster you will experience when you read through this book.

The story centers around Sky. She goes through the daily motions of life never really feeling much of anything. She hasn't cried since she was five years old and has never been attracted to anyone. Anyone, that is until a chance meeting in the grocery store introduces Holder into her life. You can tell that Holder is everything she feels she should stay away from, emotionally unstable he's probably someone she should walk away from. But, against all odds these two dive headfirst into a relationship all while experiencing a connection that seems unexplainable. I could not put this book down.

From a first kiss that breaks the record for best first kiss without actually kissing to two crazy best friends you can't help but love and possibly one of the most heartbreaking and maybe even heart healing stories you will ever have the honor to read, this one definitely belongs on anyone who loves a great read's bookshelf. Although, I don't recommend this for the faint at heart. You will laugh, you will cry and smile and frown and every other emotion or facial expression known to this universe. But, in the end, it will all have been worth it.
