Fragile Line Synopsis:
It can happen in a flash. One minute she’s kissing her boyfriend, the next she’s lost in the woods. Sixteen-year-old Ellie Cox is losing time. It started out small…forgetting a drive home or a conversation with a friend. But her blackouts are getting worse, more difficult to disguise as forgetfulness. When Ellie goes missing for three days, waking up in the apartment of a mysterious guy—a guy who is definitely not her boyfriend, her life starts to spiral out of control.
Perched on the edge of insanity, with horrific memories of her childhood leaking in, Ellie struggles to put together the pieces of what she’s lost—starting with the name haunting her, Gwen. Heartbreakingly beautiful, this poignant story follows one girl’s harrowing journey to finding out who she really is.

As soon as I saw the synopsis for this book, I knew I had to read it. I could write this long, detailed review about it, but I can also sum it up in one word and that one word is amazing. No, wait, it's incredible, or perhaps outstanding. Maybe even out-of-this-world-awesomeness. Okay, maybe it can't be summed up in one word...
Brooklyn Skye's way of writing is, I just can't even... it's just that good. It's rare that you see a subject that involves mental illness in books like this. It's sort of taboo, or at least that seems to be the general consensus.
Ellie is having all these blackouts and they just sort of are taking over her life. She's waking up in places that she had no idea how she got to them and it's just a mess. I've never had blackouts but Brooklyn Skye could make me relate! You could just feel what she was going through as she was struggling to sort everything out and it just really caused so many emotions for me.
One thing that happened in this book that's unusual for me is that I actually loved both of the main guys! I was definitely happy with the one she ended up with(no spoilers, sorry!), but I really loved the other as well. They were both pretty amazing: nice, sweet, and so not what you are usually seeing in either young adult or new adult these days.
I recommend Fragile Line for those who love something different and love a good book altogether. I loved it and can't wait to read more from the author.
*I received this book for review from InkSlingerPR, but this in no way affected my thoughts expressed in this review.*
