About the Author:
John Faubion has spent many years in Asia as a missionary with his family. Since returning to the United States, John has worked as a senior software developer for a large appliance chain. He teaches an adult Sunday school class and enjoys writing and driving his 1949 Packard automobile. John lives near Indianapolis with his wife, Beth, and their daughter.
My Review:
From the first chapter I knew that this book was going to be way more interesting and suspenseful than I had even imagined based on the synopsis. Melissa was such an interesting, manipulative and just plain downright scary character. I found the concept of creating a virtual friend both interesting and quite creepy, to be honest(made for a great book!). This book had a very nice feel to it and I loved the mention of God throughout, always perfectly placed. Friend Me is one of those books where it's like a race to the end to see how the story unfolds. I couldn't wait to see the conclusion and the suspense was so thick that I found myself literally pacing while reading at times and I honestly can't think of a person I know who wouldn't enjoy this book. I've not read a lot of Christian Suspense books in the past and I feel like it's a genre that certainly needs some love, and this author certainly knows how to write a great book within it! I would certainly read more from Mr. Faubion, and I recommend you check this book out!
