**This is the second book in the Perfect Chemistry series, and although I will not include spoilers of this book, it might spoil the previous book for you if you have not read it.**
When Carlos Fuentes returns to America after living in Mexico for a year, he doesn’t want any part of the life his older brother, Alex, has laid out for him at a high school in Colorado. Carlos likes living his life on the edge and wants to carve his own path—just like Alex did. Then he meets Kiara Westford. She doesn’t talk much and is completely intimidated by Carlos’ wild ways. As they get to know one another, Carlos assumes Kiara thinks she’s too good for him, and refuses to admit that she might be getting to him. But he soon realizes that being himself is exactly what Kiara needs right now.
Yes! Carlos got a story! I believe I loved this one even more than Alex and Brittany's story(if that's even possible!)
Okay I've really got to stop using exclamation points in this review before it makes me seem like I'm all hyped up on caffeine(even if I am- I stay up way to late reading sometimes). I really love how the story builds and it's not to over the top that you wouldn't believe it and has a gradual build as far as the two protagonists' romance. I honestly cannot wait for the next book in this series featuring the third and final Fuentes brother. But, it will definitely take a lot for me to like it more than this one. Simone Elkeles has definitely got herself a new fan!(That darn exclamation point again.)
